Welcome to my new blog!

This is my new blog, using pelican, with a custom theme I created based on pelican-material, pelican-materialize-blog. I wanted to move away from WordPress, or any dynamic CMS for the blog format. Statically generated sites are a safer, less demanding method for publishing. Pelican was a good choice for me primarily because it was Python-based, and has been used successfully.
